Starry night pro 5 with EQmod

Hello,

My Starry night pro 5 doesnt seem to recognise any plugin under telescope.
I have checked that C:\Program Files\Starry Night Pro 5\Sky Data\Plug-ins\AscomScope.plug exists. If i run EQTour seperately it communicates with the mount with out any issue. So I guess my installation for ASCOM and EQmod related software was ok. I tried reinstalling including Starry night Pro with out any luck. OS is Vista.

I am not sure what i am missing. If anyone has any clue or suggestion please let me know.

Regards
Sad

Howdy,
Try Cartes du Ciel(CDC) or Stellarium & Stellarium Scope and see if you get the same fault. You should choose EQASCOM 5/6 if you want to run EQMOD with your mount. Are you using ASCOM 5? I gave up on SN6 Pro 6(known issues with it, EQMOD and PHD) and have gone to Stellarium, much better. If you like SN 5, you should like Stellarium. Have you joined the EQMOD Yahoo tech group? Great advise and good forum.
Cheers and clears.

PS; have you updated to .NET3 or 3.5 if you are on XP?

the problem is solved by installing the starynight update from the website and also instaling the latest ascom amd then updating to the latest quicktime player then install the EQmod and it should all work fine for you.

I have had this problem before.

Whiz.
