Something to make washing the dishes enjoyable

I enjoyed watching the almost full moon rising as I was washing the dishes this evening. Very nice sight. See attached pic looking out our kitchen window, taken when the moon was at about 10 degrees altitude.

Roger.

Nice. Definitely need to have something to take your mind of household chores.
Our verandah blocks any celestial views.
But we usually have a green frog or three plastered to the other side of the kitchen window. They have a great time eating all the mozzies and moths.

Nice one. We can see the moon rise from our kiutchen window too, and see the sea over the rooftops. At least there is something to look at.

ahh, we would enjoy that too .. we sometimes have gecko's doing the same. In fact my fiance would probably prefer a frog on the window to a view of the moon We have a motorbike frog in our pond just outside our living room that we keep tabs on. Often when I walk past to the observatory he will stay sitting pirched up on a brick just a foot from me, watch me go past

COOL!

so you wash the camera too?

i dont have a handy window near my sink which is a bummer, but have a east facing window in the lounge room which distracts my from the TV and a south facing window in the bedroom so i can watch stars at night in bed

You're right... I didn't think about it at the time, but thinking back, it was very big low on the horizon there
