Before my talk in Melbourne at the ASV, I will be presenting the same talk at the general meeting of ASSA at the University of Adelaide. Each year the ASV and ASSA have an exchange speaker at one of their general meetings. This year I am honoured to be asked to give my presentation on meteorites. At the moment, the details are not on their website but I will let you know.
At the March 4 general meeting of the ASSA in the University of Adelaide, Kerr Grant Theatre, I will be giving a talk on meteorites. The meeting kicks off around 8:00pm with the normal business followed by my talk. I will have samples of several types of meteorite (including my 11kg Campo called "Aussie" for reasons that will become apparent when you see it), I don't want to spoil the surprises, but there will be some from places you possibly never imagined, even something from Apollo 11....you may even see some things from more than 65 million years ago

. At the end of the meeting, you will be able to come up and touch a piece of space for yourself.
For anyone who was at VicSouth last year, this is a repeat of the talk I gave there, but with a few small additions.
Admission is free and open to anyone with an interest.
