New Saturnian Moon(let)

Hi All,

A new Saturnian moon was announced today (04031009) by the Johnson Space Centre from Cassini images.

http://www.spaceref.com:80/news/viewpr.html?pid=27673

It seems that it maybe responsible for Saturn's G-ring (arc) and is only a couple of kilometres across.

Best,

Les D

How neat is that?

To think of how much time and energy has been spent studying Saturn and to just now find a new moon(let)...

Just imagine what else could be "right next door" (astronomically speaking)...the mind wobbles (or is it just all of the coffee?!?).

Thanks for sharing!
