Well I am happy to report that after getting cheated out of the Titan shadow transit we managed to get the shadow of Rhea on Saturn at 0325 UT on March 13, 2009 from Miami, FL. The wind gusts were driving the CGE 1100 nuts. Gaps between clouds allowed only just a few minutes of access to the planet. At least we had no dew. Seeing was always getting blobby when the cloud edges approached. Nothing like the excellent seeing the night before. But Gail managed to take 750 frames at f/25 of Lum, R, G, and B with our DMK21AF04 and got them processed and sent to me at my job in Miami Beach. And I am proud of her as she got the dim shadow which can be seen on the image. She is not a good speller as you can see, but this is just the very first processed stack from the sets she took last night. Kudos to Gail for getting the very first images we have of shadow transits on Saturn!
