Jupiter, Mercury and Mars this morning, 2Mar09

Hi all,

Here's a quick shot of the Mercury-Mars conjunction this morning, with Jupiter above. Taken at about 4:40 am Brisbane time, from the bike track in my local park. The glow at the bottom is a cyclist approaching through the fog!

Cheers,
Stephen

Love it Stephen,

Really well composed and the light from the cyclist looks great, has a bit of that "alien abduction" look about it.

Regards
Trevor

Hi Stephen

Thanks for braving those early morning starts and for continuing to showcase these breathtaking pairings (triplings?) - they are a wonderful source of inspiration for the day ahead.

Cheers

Dennis

I got a bit lucky with that cyclist, and the effect turned out quite nicely. I think he was a bit surprised to see me though.

I'm glad it provided some inspiration Dennis. It's always a nice start to the day when there's something like this to capture.

Cheers,
Stephen
