Saturn last night, animation + Dione

Some nice seeing for a while last night, around 1.40am. I accidentally captured Dione as well, didn't see it at all until Leisa pointed it out to me :-)

There are a lot of cloud details visible, so I created a 2 frame animation to make them more visible.

ps scope details:

LEXX
capture details: 25fps for Red channel, 90 seconds
Stacked 1500 frames in Red only.

regards, Bird

Here's a colour RGB image, the cloud structure is not as easy to see, most of the detail is in the red channel.

cheers, Bird

That's a lovely image, Anthony. There's a lot of cloud detail in the R channel!
