Lulin 26-02-2009

This is the first time I have dragged all the gear out for many, many, many months. I went out with the binoculars earlier in the evening to look for comet Lulin. I thought "If I can find it in the binoculars then I'll set up for an imaging run". Well I found it without any trouble and here is the result of my imaging session.

There are two versions: the first one is for LCD monitors and the second one is for CRT monitors.

39 x 30 sec. with the DSI Pro and a 70 mm lens

Thanks Andrew, the tail seems to be about 1 degree long in your images.

Thanks. Yes I know it needs a clean. It has been like that since I got the camera. One day I will clean it when (a) I work out the best way of going about it, and (b) I can be bothered cleaning it.
