Broken Hill Robinson College Astronomy Group

Hi All,
Tonight was the first night of semester 1 for our astronomy group.
I gave a talk on what has been happening regarding new storm structure on Saturn, we spoke about Comet Lulin, organized our next observing night which will be Friday 27th Feb at our remote observing site off of the Menindee road. We looked at my movie from my trip to the Keck's and finished up about 9pm.
Fellow IIS'er Kevnool stayed while I packed up the data projector and the rest of my gear and as we wondered back out to the car park we noticed Comet Lulin trailing Leo. Lulin was visible to the naked eye, this is the first time I have seen it, we will have a closer look at our remote observing site next Friday night. If any IIS members ever find themselves out in the Broken Hill region they would be most welcome to join our group.

Regards
Trevor
