Question Alt + PrtScn not working??

I don't seem to be able to copy my active window with Alt + PrtScn for some reason. PrtScn isn't working either. Any ideas on how to turn this feature on??

Is this problem on a Laptop?

If so many lappys have multifunction keys. My PrtSc key is also a SysRq key if I press Fn+PrtSc keys together.

Maybe you need to press the Fn + PrtSc key to return to original function (or likewise key on your lappy) edit: or Ctrl+PrtSc keys together to return to original function..

If it's a desktop computer try re-boot. Also I notice some USB keyboards go "odd" but work better when plugged into PS2 with adaptors.

No it's on my desktop. I have a sneaky suspicion it's the wireless keyboard. I'll try what you suggest when I'm out there tomorrow night.

Is it a microsoft keyboard? They (by default) turn the F-lock function on so you may need to toggle that over and try again.

I've hated Microsoft for doing that (by default, when booting the F-keys don't map to normal f-keys, they use the stupid alternatives printed on the keys)
