Venus from Spain - 02/13/2009

Hi all.

Last february 13 night I took my first 2009 year image, it was Venus. Here is the image:

I couldn't see any cloud in the planet. I'm thinking about buying a UV filter to image Venus, but i don't know if with my telescope apertura and the SPC900 webcam I'll have enough light to image it, what do you think?

I hope you like the image.

Clear skies from Spain

Nicely done, looks good to me.

A UV filter will still be ok with your telescope and camera, but you'll need quite long exposures with the UV filter in place so it can be a bit challenging.

I think it'll be worth doing!
