Songs astronomers don't want to here.

1) It's Raining Again - Super Tramp
2) Rain Drops Keep Falling on my Head - John Farmham
3) I Can't Stand the Rain - Tina Turner?
4) Rain - Dragon
5) I Wish it Would Rain Down - Phil Collins
6) Rainy Days and Mondays - The Carpenters
7) Riders on the Storm - The Doors
8) I Love a Rainy Night - Eddy Rabbitt
10) November Rain - Guns N Roses

I don't mind waiting another 15 years to see Titan transit. Really.

I'm fine with the rain.
So long as it happens between 10am and 2.30pm.
Clouds are good too, they stop the sun from sucking too much moisture from the ground, but they need to disappear by 5pm.

That's an ideal situation all right

the problem is where I am it is usually reversed. The clouds don't usually roll in till 5pm and we get our rain at night

Cheers

Aaawwww Chris!!!!!! You're supposed to save the definitive list for when the participants have run out of ideas...

It's hard to think of a song about rain that isn't on that list...

Let's try again...

At the risk of being accused of being a hijacker, what about songs about clouds?

Hmmm... I'm struggling right off the bat...

Thunderstruck? (indirectly)
Obscured by Clouds (there, I feel better now)

No, Chris.

Don't do it!

Not yet!

Wait till some people have responded at least....

Al.

Yep....speaking of wet weather, the low off the coast is cranking up right this minute. Earlier tonight there wasn't much there to speak of, now it's a nice vortex with a centre about 220kms east of Cairns. It's come in closer to the coast than it was before...about 30-50kms closer in about 3-5 hours.

I expect a cyclone sometime tomorrow morning.

Oh no, I only just realised I used "here" instead of "hear" in the topic. I'm sure you all noticed that but are much too polite to mention it.
