Very nice Martin, that is of a high standard for your first of the Rosette.

Does the full frame image look okay; this image with some black surround can add to the image providing there are not too many distortions around the perimeter.

Tracking is first class.

Thank you Lester

The original image has the Rosette framed wrong on the right hand side of the full frame
I was just back from a looooong night of imaging and didnt have any sleep.
Must have had my eyes in my pocket when imaging this

Very good first up shot, Martin. You've managed to capture a lot of detail and the colour is quite good. So was your tracking

Martin, well centred - makes the Rosette better to view if you get it centred like that!

Marain that is a fine image mate, but I reckon a wide field view would do it more justice, well done however.

Now what am I going to do with the 3 hours of data I collected of the rosette, from last night. Maybe I should wait till it dies down and than slip it in somewhere.

Thank you renormalised, Paul and Leon.

Leon i will do a wide field tonight and frame it properly this time.
Will also do some 20Min exposures and see what i can get out of those.

And one other thing, just post your Rosette image

Wow ... not a nebula that I've seen many images of, but that's gotta be the one of the rosiest I've seen. Thanks for sharing!
