Just wanna make a thread in the beginners section to say hi as I do feel like im starting from scratch again . Abit of an update of my whereabouts, im still alive hehe. A few IIS members still keep intouch with me so thats great to hear. I haven't been doing any photon collecting for nearly a year although i still lurk around here. Its great to see heaps of new members since ive last kept up with it. Some of yous may already know but I have been hibernating from it ever since I moved back home as it is impossible for me to image due to no backyard and small front lawn area. I should be moving back to my place hopefully less than a year from now (after getting engaged/marry) .... the pressure is on dohh... before more photon collection. Hopefully will be back with a bang!
hehe cheers Humayun. Thanks for your kind words. (He's one of the IIS members who I still keep in touch with ). Can't wait to see first light from you. With your brilliant talent, im gonna envy your images majorly.
Forgot to mention H, here's a pic showing my current location (Google Street is great!) .
Its showing West. My scope setup is right behind those white fence. Count those 12 powerline cables going from east to west. That tree in the right of the image faces North and another bigger tree (not in image). My south is blocked from the tree situated in the left of the image. Umm octans and polar alignment? no such thing . Yepp... great place to image . and that street light as well. arh.
Congratulations for your upcoming marriage Eric. That might slow the imaging down a bit also.
Will be nice to see you back in the saddle and doing what you do extremely well.
Come on. Go away for a weekend and take a few pics.

Cheers Doug thanks. I guess another chapter in life! She wont get in my way of imaging later on thats for sure Im abit of an intravert or a hermit to adventure out. I guess i dont feel comfortable with my equipment where no one is around ..
Be great to see some new work from you Eric when you get a chance again. Your posts and website have been a help and inspiration to lots of us here. Certainly convinced me not to be afraid to try a bigger Newt for both observing and imaging.

Congrats on upcoming wedding too.
Cheers Rob glad it had help you and others out. Apperture fever? hehe. I'll try and compose a few more tutorials later on when I fit in the time.
Hi Eric!
Glad you popped by IIS!
Can see why you are giving the imaging a break with all those power lines!
Get the oldies to buy a nice country property
Are we going to have some little Eric`s running around soon? LOL
Congrads on your upcoming wedding and hopefully you shall be in your own place with no power lines or street lights!
cheers
Well I'll be, great to read your post Eric, I often wonder what you have been up to of late, but i need not worry, you sound as if life is good.
Getting married Hah, Congrats mate, I'm hope you and your partner will be very happy, ( hope she is an Astro Girl) and also many thanks for the past advice and help you have bestowed on me.
