Other pics from last new moon week-end

Another Eta Carina:

Another colorful Tarantula:

and finally a bit of M78 and the barnard loop:

Bit noisy and "dewy". Only 5 subs. Will complement with lot more data end of January weather pending.

Nice Marc..

I've been wanting to do M78 for a while now... After that I dont know if I should bother!

Very well done indeed... Have you considered adding the Ha data of 2070 to your colour image?

Cheers.
Alex.

Thanks Alex. M78's nice to image. Mix of dark brown and blue reflection. My rendition is very average. I think it needs much more exp time. Yeah I thought about combining the Ha into the color for ngc2070. Still playing with it

Nice shots Marc.

M78 looks great. Maybe it could do with more exposures like you said but I think your attempt at it looks very nice.

Well done.

Very nice Marc. M78 is really nice, something to write up on the board for later.
2070 will be a lovely image with some Ha blended in. Looking forward to seeing it.

These are beautiful shots Marc !
All of them.

The hi-res versions of Eta and M78 are especially marvelous.
NGC2070 looks a tiny bit soft on focus to me but still a lovely rendition.

Well done !

M78 is a corker Marc. Given a limited amount of data, its came out remarkably well. Good job.

Thanks Andrew. I'm very happy with Eta. M78, I don't really like it maybe because I got dewed up by fog and I'm still holding a grudge not being able to get more data . Tarantula ... well focus was spot on (same as Eta) but processing and reducing the stars may have softened it up way too much. My bad processing. Let's not blame the scope this time I can take it.

Cool Jase I wasn't expecting that one from you. Not M78. Processing to save the data was a bang up job all the way. I'm not worthy.
