M35 and NGC 2158

HI All!

Yesterday I had an imaging session with my great imaging buddies at our dark sky site!

To begin the night I thought I would shoot a globular cluster, while waiting for IC434 to be closer to the meridian. M35 was still in "the soup" from the city but I figured I would try anyway!

This is M35 and NGC2158. North is left and up.

6 x 5 min. @ ISO 1600

Pentax 125 SDP
Pentax 75 SDHF - guiding
EM200
Canon 40D unmodded

Acquired in PHD Guide, Nebulosity and Equinox under OSX.

Nice shot E. Get the 40D modified, and you will be very happy.
The Pentax scopes sure give lovely images.
