I have for sale a lovely BRASS SUNDIAL that is 180mm in diameter.
It is new and unused. I have one already mounted on a pedestal, and this one would look great in any Amateur Astronomers Garden.

On the dial itself, it has a time calculation table that allows time compensation for different Months of the Year.

I also have a set of instructions for set-up of this Sundial.

Geoff,

The Gnomon doesn't look adjustable. What latitude is it designed for?

Hi,
The Gnomon is fixed. I have never seen one that is adjustable.
All Sundials of this type I have seen have had a fixed Gnomon.

Having said that, My father had the same one in Sydney's Latitude and it was reasonably accurate.
I have another the same as this on the Central Coast ( Gosford area ) and it keeps reasonable time as well at this latitude.

Update: 12/1/09: I know of another of these in Qld which also keeps good time....

I could measure the angle if this helps.
