[SOLD]: Rings to mount 12" newt OTA on HEQ5/EQ6

I was cleaning out the garage today and found the old rings I used for about a year before ordering the custom rings from Orion Optics in the UK.

They're 2 half-shells of aluminium, about 6mm thick, padded with foam.
They are joined by a dovetail bar, also of aluminium about 15mm thick, about 45mm wide and about 400mm long.

The dovetail bar fits into the standard head of a HEQ5 or EQ6.

The weight of the whole ring setup is only about 2-3kg.

The OTA is held in the rings using luggage straps and pulled tight.

I used these for planetary imaging with my 12" newt all throughout 2007.

Some pics below of the rings, and also when they were in use.

Asking price? I'm not sure.. make me an offer?
Postage should be quite reasonable given the light weight.. just needs a big box.

PM if you're interested.
