Moon and friends....sept7

This is an image of the Moon, Venus and Jupiter, also captured was the star Spica. Venus is just to the right of the moon, the Star Spica is to the left and Jupiter is at the bottom (as we all know by now). It's a capture of three images at 12F on the S7000 2.5sec @ F5.6, Images were cleaned in Neat image then aligned using registax and camera noise removed in Paint Shop Pro.

Image is 769x1024 so I had to link it.

yes it was a very nice sight; as the night went on , the moon just before setting was very close to venus and yellow and then red in the west- almost as it were in eclipse

beautiful sight

Excellent pics Astroman, thanks btw on the S7000 settings now i have something to go by for my next session.
