last Venus and Moon for the year

I noticed the Moon last night and thought that the encounter with Venus tonight would look good if the weather held. I'm not happy with the focus, but since the rains it is not safe to be outside at this time without an extra litre of blood for transfusion.

On my way back from my neighbors driveway, I noticed Mercury and Jupiter from my own. Again not happy with focus (and the TV antenna), but hey, you can't have everything... where would you put it?

Great images Tony. I was able to have a quick look at the conjunction as well but unforntunately didn't have the camera with me. Anyway I think you have done a great job with capturing it. The second image is my favourite except the last one with Joop and Merc in the frame is great as well.

Well done.

Thanks Dylan and Matt, I tried to get as much of the palm tree action going because I was sending to a mate in Canberra whose heart is in Queensland... Makes him green with envy
