Quick Rosette

Been a while since I have posted anything, weather etc.....

Rosette Nebula from a couple of nights ago.

Full Frame using the Canon 350D (Unmodded). Ambient temp was 27c at the time so a lot of noise.

4 x 400 seconds (Imaging run aborted due to severe lightning) @ ISO 800. Darks, Flats and Bias added.

Takahashi TSA-102 @ f/4.9, guided with a SW ED80 Pro and Q-Guider.

Aquired/sequenced using DSLRFocus, processed using ImagesPlus 3.50 and a bit of Levels and Curves in Photoshop CS3.

Cheers and compliments of the season to all.

John G

Awesome shot John. I love the colors. Just right. Great details in processing too. It's been ages I haven't seen anything from you on these forums. Have a great Xmas and best of health for 2009.

Good work John. Colours look a little unsaturated IMO, but you've got some remarkable detail there. Well done.

Thanks for the comments, guy's, has been a while, hopefully get back into imaging with the return of the SBig, just got to wait for the weather to co-operate.

Cheers

Good to see you back in the saddle. As I said before loads of detail in the Neb. Looks a little sharp to me.
Get the 128 and the SBIG fired up and get into it.
