I am currently seeing if I can get home from Holidays a day earlier to get up the Pony Club for some darker skies.
Although I have had clear skies while in Qld, the sky has been littered with light pollution.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for an early departure toward home and a good night.

I may be able to make the 27th. I havn't been before and though I've had my scope for a while am not really very good at using it. I'm hoping someone could help me out.

As Geoff said you are most welcome to come to the Pony Club Sat and there should be a range of scopes and people to help out with yours.
What type of scope is it?
Weather forecast is looking a little more promising than it did earlier in the week. We can only keep fingers crossed.
A few more starters would be good....RB?...Sue?...Bones? etc...etc. GMB..If the cheer is too much use one of your filters!!!!!! Surely someone got a new scope or gear for Chrissy and is hangin' to try out?

Looks like I will make it for saturday night.

We have booked into a Motel in Coffs Harbour for Boxing day night, so as to break up the drive home a little.

That means I can get home at a decent time on Saurday and prepare for the Mountain again.
