Inversed Sun Dog.

This afternoons high cloud created the ideal conditions for the optical effect called "Sun Dogs". I managed to capture the very end of one, just as it was fading.
For something different, I inversed the cloud in photo shop and was surprised at how pretty it looked.

Not familiar with "sun dogs" optical effect...please explain ...
