EQ6PRO Altitude

Hi Guys,

I got my EQ6PRO from what I gathered from this forum Latitude Scale on them are not very accurate. How do I set it correctly?

If you can see the SCP then just level it with the bubble and use the polar site to find the octans asterism. This will give you a reasonablly accurate measuremement. You can then read off the scale to tell you how far out the scale is. I almost never changed mine once it was set. As long as you level the mount first it should stay pretty much where you set it.
