I think you misunderstand the purpose of this vehicle. It would be great for chasing shoplifters through shopping centres or collecting wanderers from aged-care facilities. And if it is the sooped-up model they could catch miscreant bicycle riders.
But whatever its faults and failings it a damn site better than those bloody hummers they've got. Talk about a waste of money!
Don't knock it too hard, I used to have one of them. Was called a Holden Barina though (same thing, different badges). Would hit 130Km/hr+ at a push ( so I'm told ). Could sit on 100km/hr on corrugated gravel roads and stick like glue on the corners.

I have a soft soft for them too, my first brand new car was a swift back in '95, complete with a full exhaust and a group A chip. Clocked up 270K on it too before selling it
