aftermath of the storm

Well it happened, and my garden got zapped, 3 beautiful trees damaged, big branch into neighbours garden. I had to call in the tree loppers to remove my HUGE white gum, my Kadagi and my Blue Quangdong. Cost??? $3,000. Made redundant the week before - bang went my holiday pay and pay in lieu of notice
BUT NOW I HAVE FANTASTIC VIEWS
I can see Orion rising in the east, I will have great views of the Pileades, and things north. Even the view to the south has improved thanks to neighbours Cuban Royal palm loosing most of its leaves! Anyone interested in large chunks of wood? I reckon I can make 10,000 wooden spoons from the logs they left (cant resist good wood)
So all is not gloom and doom - only want to see clear skies now!!!
