LP planetary vs WO planetary

Im thinking about getting a new eyepiece in the 12-15mm range for my C8 - but I dont want to spend more than about $150...

I wear glasses, so I need something with decent eye relief (which rules out plossls) that is good for planets/lunar.

Andrews sells the 'super high grade planetary' range for about $100, and also the WO SPL range for slightly more.

Any thoughts on which is better?

When you talk about the super high grade planetary range - are they manufactured by Long Perng - they are the people who make the WO ones as well - i think just the QC of WO is probably bit better but esentially the same ep's. I have a WO spl & it is sharp for the money with good ER.

I suspected as much, since they look very similar.

Might as well just get one I think :-) I would love a nagler or a Pentax, but just cant justify the price.

I don't have any experience with these eps, but I reckon eyepieces are things that you have for a long time and a few extra dollars are worth it. I know your budget is up to $150, but it might be worth thinking about a baader hyperion 13mm at $225 from myastroshop, or better still a vixen LVW for $370. Much less than a nagler, but a great ep. Just a thought...

Pentax 12mm XF? Also above your budget (~$215), but if you do consider going higher...
