venus 4th sept

Using 6" refractor. Stopped down to 90mm @ 160X 1 image with kodak DSLR 1/4 sec exposure/Not hand held this time with drive engaged. Tone balance adjust to cancel out violet fringing. (achromatics ) Cropped etc etc.

The one on the left is the original.

Nice images asimov..... Getting a decent look at Venus has eluded me so far.... it gets below the trees so early, and my series 500's certainly dont help

my s500 6.5 gave me a good view last i looked. you need to get out while the sky is still really light

May have to give that a try, she's climbing too, may get some better views....

Looks very much like the view I had last week, was great to see it together in the same field of view as Jupiter !
