Will pull the garage door down before I hit the sack, got some loose HardySheets on my south wall that I've not gotten around to renailing and liquid nailing to the frame , and don't want to loose them in breeze.

They even said to expect snow in the Blue Mountains and Barrington Tops ---- it's near the end of November and they forecast snow !!!

Weather is really crazy lately .,... (last few years)....

That's a low of 964 HPa , which if pretty intense and it will be very close to Sydney and Newcastle for at least 24 hours.....

If you've a slide off roof , I'd do something about securing it else it could wind up next door.

Yeah I hear ya brother.... (over the howl of the wind).

What an extraordinary day of weather we've had here! Very strong winds, hail, snow, sleet, sunshine, rain, periods of absolute calm (but with the sounds of strong winds nearby)... we've had a couple of sunsnowshowers... snowsunshowers... ...snow falling while the sun was out.

The ground is still too warm for the snow to lay, but during one fall the visibility was less than 400m.

I've been tinkering in the shed today (with my beanie on!) making brackets for hand controllers etc for the obs.

Well we awoke to a good cover of snow this morning (some of us). I had a bit of a sleep in so it was patchy when I got up, but I was told it was full cover earlier. Almost gone now, thanks to the rain.

mmm inside jobs today I think.

I've lit our fire today. Still had some dry wood inside and it's blurry cold. So much for cleaning it out for the summer.

Had the thermal undies packed away for the summer, got them on again. The wind yesterday was a lazy one. Didn't go around just went straight through.

Bright and sunny today , not a lot of wind ....

Was thinking of heading up Nobbys Wall this avo to test the water for snapper of the rocks .... even had he big snapper rod on the roof racks and the trolley in the back and some bottle squid in the teeny weeny plastic esky .... got to Nobby's Beach car park and the sea looked pretty big, so drove up next The Fort and watched for a while , plenty of big waves overtopping the wall (not just spray) so promptly changed my mind.

Still plenty of people walking up the wall and playing chicken with the waves .... crazy !!!
