GSO SCT focuser, focal reducer, DSLR & T rings!

I am going to pick up a GSO SCT focuser but before I do I wanted to pick the brains trust here first...if I may!

Where do I fit an SCT focal reducer with this focuser?

Where is the best place for a focal reducer, as close as possible to DSLR or at the SCT thread?

I also need a DSLR adaptor. I have seen these and they claim to reduce vignetting by not reducing down from a 2" to a "T Ring":

Is this a croc? Should I just get the std 2" DSLR adaptor and "T Ring"?

Hope someone can shed some wisdom. Thanks in advance.
