Brand new ED80, never seen light!

Yes, this was a prize from iisac08! As I already have a Megrez88, hence this is surplus to our needs and we want to buy a Dob which will be easier for the little man to use. The colour camera is also going up for sale; together with this it should buy a good starting Dob.

The telescope includes a hard metal case with custom foam mouldings, tube rings and dovetail bar. The OTA features a smooth 2-speed Crayford style focuser, extendable dew shield and a 2” to 1.25” reducer. The OTA itself has a 80mm aperture, 600mm Focal length (F7.5) and uses extra-low dispersion ED Glass.

I will donate part of the sale price back to ice in space to help with the guilt!

York item number: 10213-041

New Value $1000, Sale to Ice-in-Space forum member $750 + Postage.

($50 out of this to be donated back to Ice-in-space)

Price reduced to $650 or discuss trade options for Edmund Scientific Astroscan (better for kids than a mount for this)

Withdrawn

Picked up a mount for it yesterday at a garage sale.
