Saturn and The TOA130

Decided to give it a bit of a run last night, and whilst seeing was quite ordinary, I started off earlier at about 100X and as the morning wore on things improved and was able to get some nice viewing at 250X. I cant wait to get some real nice seeing to see what this baby can really pump out. All I have to do now is talk "she who must be obeyed" into letting me get a nice digital SLR. I notice that Pentax have just released a 6.1megpixel Dig SLR for under $1500. (and it is a metal body as well) I think I might have to lose my Canon G5!!

Nice scope Exfso.
My friend has a fs128. See below.
We have had some awesome views of saturn.
We have pushed the scope well over 400x and it only failed with the seeing.
Good luck with what i would call a super set up.

Best.

Hi Exfso,
welcome to the group, nice kit. Not keen to try a remote for the G-11 are you?
Shoot me a mail at g.bea@clear.net.nz if you are.
