Bloody weather

OK you Victorians take this bloody weather back. You do know there is enough photons to go around, don't you? Wind rain and flash flooding here.

We had our turn yesterday and today as well, but we are not complaining it hasn't rained for ages.

I guess it could be worse, it could be a new moon. Hopefully it'll clear up by then (fingers crossed).

Dont be daft.
It will clear for the full moon and be cloudy again by new moon.

I had a clear spot for about half an hour, just enough time to see the moon.

Then it clouded over for the rest of the night. It's not looking much better for the next few days either.

We had some nice falls here in Alice and it was much needed! The Todd had it's first flow in ages and the whole bush got a nice drink.
The astronomer in me was slightly peeved (we've had a few weeks of cloud cover over the last couple of months) but the bushwalker in me was as happy as a pig in..er..whatever it is that pigs are happy in.
I find clouds a lot easier to bear if they bring rain.
