After many days of poor weather I felt any imaging is better than none.
ISS not at its brightest at only mag -1.4 but it was rising at a shallow angle between Venus & Jupiter. I think my neighbour's palm trees gave it mre scale.
Cheers
I saw it this evening after 8.30 pass over Newcastle through the cloud - it was indeed an impressive sight. it was as bright or brighter than Venus, and definitely brighter than Jupiter going from SW to NE. visually i thought i could even make out the solar array structure shining bright in a different position to the main body. (could have been dreaming ).
it would have made for a brilliant sight through binos - or even imaged?
