Hmm... seems it is still actually worth something. There's a used ex-library copy on Amazon for $US 192.

I have a copy of what seems to be the first edition - 1968 - Published by Cambridge University Press in the UK as Astronomical Objects for Southern Telescopes by EJ Hartung (with an addendum for northern observatories) and described as "A handbook for Amateur Observers." PM me if interested.

Big difference; that's the original Hartung book. Malin & Frew edited it extensively and brought it up to date after Hartung passed away; it is very considerably superior. I have one - signed by David Malin - but no it's not for sale.
