CCD Cameras and Filterwheel

Hi all, SALE OF ALL ITEMS ARE PENDING

I had purchased the following as a backup for my normal setup some time ago but have never needed them:
  • Starlight Xpress MX716 Mono Cooled CCD with USB Interface plus Star2000 Guider Image
  • SBIG ST-9E Cooled CCD with enhanced cooling, Water cooling jacket and parallel interface (this is not a USB camera), Hard Case, Cables and power supply (12v not 240 v, ideal for field use) Image
  • TruTek Custom (Motorised) Filter wheel plus fittings to suit both the above cameras plus all computer connections and controller. (http://www.trutek-uk.com/cwss/ss3.htm) Image
All are in working order and have been trialled successfully on my automated set-up.

All reasonable offers considered. higginsdj at bigpond dot com

Cheers

Are you willing to separate the cameras?

Yep - it's not a job lot though there might be considerable discounts if someone were to take the lot

Just to paint the picture...... I paid $2000 for the MX716 + TruTek filterwheen (Second Hand) and $1600 for the ST9e (Second hand). Obviously I'm not expecting that sum of money but it provides a ballpark for offers.

Cheers

Just so im sure (I checked the SBIG site, but the info is kind of hard to understand..)

The ST-9E is not self guided is it?

You know I never actually used it so never checked. I believe it does have one (small chip version). I think it is only the new versions (like the 9eI versions) that offer versions without the extra chip to lower the price.

Anyone know? I'll check when I get home to see if it has both chips like my ST-8e.

Cheers

I think the MX716 also has the Star2000 guider interface as well - I'll have to check. - Yep it comes with Star2000. See images (poor quality) in the first post.

Hi all,

Just to let you know that I have a number of offers for the gear already. I'll wait till tomorrow before deciding who 'wins' so if you are interested then you still have some time to get your bids in.

Don't be afraid to bid - I'm feeling generous so you might get lucky

Cheers

David
