For Sale - Meade 10" LX200R
I bought this from Bintel in November 2006.
The telescope is in excellent condition, the tube is unmarked, and the optics are perfect. The optics have been cleaned once by me with Bintel UHTC cleaning solution and are pristine.
I have installed the
Peterson Engineering dry clutch upgrade so you only need to tighten the dec clutch lightly for a firm grip.
It comes with all of the standard accessories except for the diagonal (I upgraded to a dialectric diagonal, which I wish to keep, and gave away the standard diagonal). The standard accessoriesinclude the hand controller, a cable to power the scope from a powertank or car accesories port, 8x50 finderscope, Meade 26mm plossl, electric focuser, and a cable to attach the telescope to a computer serial port (not pictured), and tripod. The finderscope has some scuff marks on it from when I travelled to a star party with it lying loose in a box. These marks are cosmetic and don't affect it's performance.
