website to go soon

being a newbie here, i find this is a very friendly and knowedgable forum- i also noticed a great sense of humor here, that being said- i got tired of looking at personal websites and all the seriousness, so a few years ago i started a site with a friend of mine that dealt with the 'astro bizarre' so to speak,- ill be taking it off shortly due to the annual server $fee$, im broke- LOL, we'll save it for maybe for future use and another upgrade, but until then its 'soon to go'- so if you care to see it before it leaves the internet, let me know and ill post the link, ill check back later and see the replies are, in the meantime we celebrate july 4th here in the US-- which means only 1 thing- i set up a truckload of fireworks hoping i dont blow myself up- LOL

Yes Harpsy, I'll risk it and have a look at your site. I enjoy a laugh or two. Or three thousand!

Hey Harpsy,

Are you sure you ain't an Aussie? That is very funny!!!!

Why close it down due to server fees. Just wack it all on a Free Hosting service. There are plenty of them. I use Bravenet for my site. Absolutely free with multiple pages and you get extra free features!!!!

Keep it going, it's hilarious.

glad you all liked it- i might leave it where it is maybe- its $70 USD a year- i guess that isnt too bad for a website- we lost an issue though when we changed from yahoo- thats where the link from 'ralph' met a dead end- that issue was hilarious i thought- he was the green alien selling lemonade on the roadside- i introduced him in a previous epsiode after he 'moved' into the neighborhood- he tested Spit's new Photofast OTA called the F/1- which was actually a hollow coffee can- LOL, but you had to read it to see how insane it all was- thx for looking and the replies

Funny site, Spitty.

The price you're paying is not though.

I recently 'purchased' a domain name. Cost AUD38 for three years - that's pretty close to USD10 per year. On the recommendation of a member of another site I plonked the site with a hosting service known as e-rice. That's USD10 per year. So for USD20 per year I'm up and running.

Of course it does have limitations, in my case 3Gb per month. As my site is not a highly referenced site - though I do have data being uploaded each minute/quarter hour/hour and the like - I'm not likely to overstep the restriction.

Don't hold your breath there, Micko. AsstroPoints are like gold. Your about as likely to find a fraction of an ounce of gold as you are likely to get a fraction of an AsstroPoint.

Besides.... Two years ago I sent him all of my TeleVue ep's when he first posted his site at another forum...... and I'm STILL waiting for him to send me my 1X Finderscope. "Hey Spit! What's the hold up! I'm starting to wonder about the lack of production at your factory."

ok, i had another issue planned, but i wasnt getting many 'views' at you know where on it. i thought it would of been hilarious with some crazy ideas i had- MO couldnt help cause she was quitting smoking at the time and Scopestuff turned her into a chimney stack- LOL, between those issues and the price of startlogic i pulled it- its still on her front page files though- so i guess when things get settled in, it will up somewhere in the future with a new issue- BTW- just because we went out business- thats doesnt mean you cant still order our premier equipment!!--Send a check ANYTIME whether were online or not- LOL
