Starry Night Pro vai remote desktop

I am trying to run Starry Night Pro 6.0 via a windows remote desktop.
I have all my software on the PC at the telescope ie
SNP 6.0
PHD Guiding DSI
EQMOD
nebulosity 2 QHY8 camera
all required drivers

I can see and control all of the programs from my laptop except SNP 6.0
When I establish the remote connection SNP 6.0 just shows up as a blank white screen, all other programs work perfectly.

Is this possible?
Can anyone who has this running give me any hints.
Telescope PC is running XP Pro
Lap top XP Home
connect via a hardwired lan 100mb

Thanks
Wazza

Ive never tried using Windows Remote desktop

Try RealVNC Free Edition
http://www.realvnc.com/

SNP will run a little slow remotely. For any RD software faster you'll need to pay for it.

I have since found out that Windows Remote Desktop is not fully compatible with OpenGL which is used in SNP.
It is possible to run SNP without using OpenGL. It works correctly on Remote Desktop when started without OpenGL.

I chose not to use RealVNC etc. because the speed (instantaneous response) of Remote desktop is much better and the screens are just like sitting in front on the telescope computer. The camera images displayed are just as you would see them in the observatory.

I am now just about ready for winter.
I will be able to set up the observatory for viewing then move to the nice warm loungroom. Very handy when doing a series of 10 minute images, I will be able to keep an eye on everything from the laptop.
