Another ISS pass image 18th Oct

Hi Everyone,
Just a quick pic of the ISS last night before setting up for a deep sky shot.
Reached mag -1.9 and could see it clearly coming through the trees from the NW. Has been a while since I have seen a real bright one! Nice!
Also well placed for me cutting right through the heart of our Galaxy!
90 second exp @ 800iso with sigma 17-70 lens and 20D.
cheers Gary

Great shot Gary, it looks fantastic against the starry backdrop.

I wonder how the view was for that space tourist up there, lucky devil.

Love the detail in the MW and nice colours too.

It certainly was a beaut pass over, very bright, the kids and I enjoyed the show.

yeh it was lovely, my wife and I were outside lying on the trampoline watching it.

I wanted to capture it through the telescope but we had gone out for dinner with the kids and only just got home - no time to set up!

Beautiful image with the milkyway there, Gary.

Bummer! It clouded over here late in the arvo, so I didn't bother setting up... but I also forgot this pass... It would've been worth a squiz through the sucker holes...

Beautiful image Gary!

Al.
