HDR Moon :P

Hi,

I have been trying out HDR imaging lately and had the scope set up last night (16/10/2008). Not sure that you could actually think of this one like it is a HDR, but, I did shoot 6 frames at varying exposures.

Anyway the result of my efforts are attached, enjoy.

Higher resolution can be found here.

Thanks for looking

Daniel...

Hey Daniel that's a great image. Excellent sharpness and detail, good natural colours and contrast.

What scope/camera did you use?

Hi,

I used my Skywatcher ED80 and Pentax K20D at prime focus. As a I said it was a combination of 6 images @ Exposure Time of 1/90 and Exposure Compensation between 0 and -3.

Thanks

Daniel...
