M42 core area

This made an interesting crop. I was amazed to find the resolution still held up despite being so highly magnified. The BRC 250 is showing how deep it can go with this sensitive Apogee U16M camera which is a real treat to use.

Sensor size is about 36mm square. 16.8mp and the pixels are the same size as the STL11000 camera - 9 microns. But it is significantly more sensitive than the STL11000 and less noise and the STL11 is a fantastic camera.
