Mars Rover Carwash

My fiance just came across this link in his forum:
Click here They discuss all manner of weird things over there
Apparently, the dust from one of the Mars rovers, Opportunity, has been clearing off its solar panels during the night. This has happened on numerous occasions and has actually increased the power output of the rover as opposed to the rover Spirit, where it has suffered a decline. They reckon the wind in the crater is blowing off the dust. It will be interesting to see how the rover will perform now that it is out of the crater.
It just goes to show that there is still so much out there that we don't know and that Mars will continue to surprise us. These rovers have exceeded all expectations and I hope they continue to go on their journey across Mars. It is such a fascinating planet.
