Another Trifid

Yes another Trifid Nebula. 10 X 5 minute exposures with VC200l and QHY8.
Calibrated with Darks Flats and Bias Files.

Doug it's a very nice clean image with fine detail.
You've pulled some very nice structure from the data.
The only thing though is that you've clipped the histogram and have lost detail in the shadows.
There's also a slight green colour cast which throws out your colour balance.

If you adjust the colour balance in PS try reducing the green channel.
The rest of the image looks great, the dust lanes stand out and stars and nice and round with nice colours.

Great shot. That is a wonderful camera. Great detail and even the peripheral dark nebulae stand out. Nice going!
