Dumbell from a dumbell

Tonight I thought I might take a couple of hours of Dumbell nebula. All was looking good and clear. Everything was working well. Started with 12 X 10 minute exposures and took a look at the clock. Sitting in the lounge looking around the forum and having a chat with AlexN on my chat room I thought time to check hw far I had gone through the imaging run. Checked my watch again , must be almost at the last image so I went out to take a look and start off some 15 min exposures but it was decidedly dark. Bloody cloud and lots of it. I checked each individual image and found I had six usable subs. So here it is one hour of Dumbell nebula.

Scope: Vixen VC200L at f9
Camera: QHY8 cooled CCD camera.
Active guiding on a Losmandy G11.

Thanks for the kind comments. In the end it didn't rain and at about 1.00am the sky had again cleared but was a bit late for me to go and setup again. Getting to old to setup twice in one night.

Thanks for the comments. I was quite amazed at the amount of details captured considering thee conditions on the night and will if possible add a lot more data to this image and hopefully reprocess to release more of the nebulas detail.

Very nice Doug, the inner detail of the nebula that you've captured looks great.
