Large Reprocessed Carina

Because of the lousy astro weather I was a bit bored so I threw everything I had learnt about processing in the last couple of months at the data from this thread

http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...ad.php?t=30558

Here is the newer better version 6000x4004 pixels and 5.4MB

Great nebulosity extension. Don't often see the fainter wisps towards the bottom of the frame. Star colours look like they were maintained well too. Good stuff Bert.

Just send $4.99 for 92 weeks to here (berts get rich quick fund) and you will get a full set of steak knifes for free!

Seriously Doug I will explain all in meticulous detail. I just have to get my head around what is really happening. Your data from your zoom lens will really come out superbly with this method as it simulates smaller pixels at the sensor without loss of sensitivity. By the way keep up the good work. I would have ignored that frame as I live under flight path central.

A fantastic shot Bert, I cant wait for the details too The smaller pixel simulation is most interesting. The outer nebulosity is something Ive not seen before

Cheers Bert - that was my first thought.."data from my zoom lens will really come out superbly with this method"

I've been looking for that slight jump in resolution and your processing looks like the go!
All the best, and once again - lovely Eta!
