Building a cable release run by Qbasic

Great article at this site

http://covingtoninnovations.com/dslr/canonrelease.html

works just as well with my Pentax

I ran the Qbasic program and it works, now all I need to do is learn up my basic to write a program for multiple timed exposures. Unless someone else has already done it

Thanks Trevor. I've just soldered up the most dodgey remote cable and switch in the history of electronics!!

Hacked together a 2.5mm jack off an old wireless phone headset and an old lamp light switch and seems to work great. Not posting a pic in case offends anyone with electrical skill!

Better than the rubber-band I started with and will hopefully hold out until I buy a Chinese clone timer-release.
