I am waiting on some parts for my W/O FLT110 so thought I would try to take some images using the scope I intend to guide with. All shots 5 Minutes ISO 800 Canon 400d unmodified. 9 lights, 4 darks stacked and processed both in DSS and GIMP. My parts arrived yesterday so all I'm waiting on now like all of south east queensland is for fine weather and maybe 20 Knot winds instead of 30. The scope is F/6.2 and 300mm with due shield fully retracted and 360 extended. Looks great for a grab and go. Any comments welcome.
Thanks
Mark
Nice wide FOV.. M8 could do with a bit more red/magenta in it (personal taste) but other than that it looks like a very capable little scope... (coming from a recently initiated william optics fanboy!)
hmmm, you have got the detail happening, but maybe the colour is a bit off, IMHO, however you have captured a nice image, and the little scope as you put it certainly pulls in the photons, well done.
Looks like a good little scope with nice sharp images to the edges. Nice wide field too. I suspect you will be doing some imaging as well as guiding with it.
