The Dark Tower with 6 inch scope

Hi all
here is my best ever Dark Tower, a cometary globule in Scorpius
15x5 mins ISO400 LPS filter Modded 350D. Meade 6 inch f3.6 "Cometracker" SN, which Theodog once labelled the "Spittoon"

Larger version here

Ive just processed and uploaded the image, not bothered with any noise reduction as yet.
Cheers
Scott

Nice one Scott.
Interesting neb at the "pointy" end. I'll look into that for Ha.
The spittoon has just left me with a dry throat.
Reference to the appearence -not performance.
Well imaged.

Very nice Scott! not a easy target for a DSLR..
I like this wider field view than the closeups I have seen.
Well done!

Thanks all
That smaller dark nebula is B 44a, its marked on Star Atlas pro software. Yes there is some Ha emissions around the Dark Tower maybe a bit of reflection nebulosity too.
