What a day

Went for a job application today....got it....prefer to keep the details private for the moment.

Resigned from my current job of 20 years today...that was difficult.

What am I going to do with my 20 weeks long service leave.....lol

And most importantly picked up the canon 50mm F1.4 all so today....lol

Shot just taken of my favourite fish called powder which is a Powder blue tang in my salt water marine tank....hard not to overexpose with a flash 430EX.

looks like a nice lens for indoor happy snaps.

Congratulations on the new job.
It's a brilliant photo. My fish mad son, Jack, asked me to make it our desktop background. So we did. Thanks.

Nice pics of the fish Tony, I know the feeling, I left Telecom after 20 years, went from the public service to private enterprise, it felt quite strange for a time.

BTW it's time to sell that 40D, Canon has announced a new full frame 5DII ...you know you want one...
